Miches real estate Ceyba Park

Miches is an old fishing village, locally known as a pueblo, with a population of some 10,000 people where the modern world has not yet taken a foothold.

It offers a real feeling of old traditional Spanish and Caribbean cultures where time is not important.

In Miches you can enjoy shopping in the traditional manner for local fresh fruit, vegetables & fish, there is also a pharmacy, a bank & a petrol station.

On the hill above Miches is the Hotel La Loma for overnight accomodation, or to take a refreshing drink whilst enjoying the wonderful view across the bay.

As yet, Miches has not been discovered by mass tourism and this is reflected in the local roads, accommodation and facilities.

However as recently as June 2008, Miches has been highlighted as a key area for sustainable eco-tourism, and development. by the Department of Tourism & some American Advisers.  Click here for more info.

The general plan for the area is for controlled development in sympathy with the local natural enviroment, meaning  for investors  there is a huge future potential in the area.
